Crying Rocks

In front of my office there was a land full of trees. Few weeks back, saw that all the trees were gone - Big cranes, machines & man in helmet moving around the area. I asked my colleague that what is happening & he told seems a building is on the way here. This city doesn’t have many building but for sure still thought of Mother Nature, felt bad for few seconds & then forgot.

After few days, was working on my system & suddenly felt the tremors - wondered

if it was an earthquake. Got up & saw all my colleagues looking outside. So, as per the human nature, even I went & saw the smoke from the newly created barren land. So I asked – Hey, what’s that & 'Fau' told they are blasting so as to remove the rocks & lay the foundation for the building....I looked at the black smoke still coming & stood there eagerly waiting for the next blast.
Gosh....!!!! It was an explosion – I was seeing it for the first time in my life & it was not a great thing to see but out of nowhere I just said that why they are doing - poor rocks & this colleague of mine 'Fau' smiled & said – Oh Yeah - Rocks must be crying or they must be sad, isn’t it??? And he smiled again..... :)

And this made me think – Oh Yes – Why not??CRYING ROCKS!!!

Rocks as we see with our eyes are strong & non-living. For sure - it doesn’t make a difference to them either you blast or water them. No difference.....Right??

Is it similar for the people are strong enough & many a times we call few of them – ‘Sturdier as Rocks’ / 'Strong as Rocks'. They can take up anything, live through any situation of life, strong enough to handle the worst & the best of life, cope up with bumpy roads of life and what not…..These rocky people know how to balance & have the strength that helps in dealing with the life’s challenges which knocks us down & they know that it’s the person himself who can deal with the hardships of life & it is he himself who can come out of the tunnel & find the light.

So does it mean that we should not think even once before we decide to hurt them, blast them, explode them, and leave them to die...

But, for sure it does not mean that they don’t have emotions, they don’t have feelings & they don’t want the world to be by their side. It’s just that they don’t show their feelings but they need the support & world to understand them. We cannot just keep blasting them.

We are so mean that we appreciate them for being strong & we don't feel anything for them as they are strong. It's like we can keep hurting them & still want them to keep standing as is.. Stand like Rocks to face the storms of life..
